We hate when neighborhood people shoot off their own fireworks at all hours of the night. Scary indeed.

Oh we agree wif you, not only to wesa haf to contend with all the freakin fireworks in our village, our local sheriffs office shoots them off every morning at the buttcrack of dawn to scare the buzzards off the tower....my mom just shakes hers head and says, 'only in a small town."

ReplyDeleteWe agree with you... this is a SCARY Holiday.. We are going to go to see fireworks... butt we park over a mile away... and stay in the CAR. It is quiet there..
OMD that dachshund looks EXACTLY like Ernie did as a puppy...
PeeS... he STILL has not made it HOME from the Pirate Pub... Wonder where he might be Sleeping It Off???????????????

The 4th of July is our least favorite holiday due to the fireworks. we live near an indian reservation and they sell BIG fireworks. And people set them off all weekend till wee hrs of the morning. Bailey barks and barks and barks.
