Yep - kinda hard to tell but that is Shiloh.
Just a quik note for now. Shiloh has greatly
improved. And I may have found the culprit in
the backyard which caused his latest bout of
tummy problems. I found what appears to be a
part of a bird carcass - was kinda hard to tell
because as I said, it was a PART and I didn't
want to examine it close enough for a more
definitive answer but I was sure there was a
feathery body - just couldn't make out a head.
Plus there were leaves and dead grass on it.
Anyway, it isn't out there anymore - I made sure
to get rid of it so that Shiloh couldn't get at
it. Shiloh is doing well. Last evening him and
The Diva Shasta got into a tussle and had a race
around the livingroom. Mom had to play the
voice of reason and made them cut it short.
All other systems are a go - what goes in is
coming out just fine. Shiloh has his appetite
back and lets me know that I am not feeding him
enough. I hope this weekend the Beaglebratz will
be able to post a bit. Gotta go for now.
Great news and onwards and upwards. We hope all is back to normal by Christmas. Lucky you found the bird before seconds were attempted. Have a fabulous Friday.

Oh, that is GREAT news!!! Yea! Just in times for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMa had an Irish Terrier that ate a bird live once! Didn't have anything happen, never saw hide or hair of it (if ya know what I mean), butt you don't know if Shiloh's bird was 'fresh' or not. I'm thinking not....

Ruby
WE agree with AMBER this is the bestest NEWS OF THE DAY!! WHEW.
ReplyDeleteOf course my momma would be doing her whole poop detective thing. She had a dog that used to eat birds. Those claws and beaks are hard to digest.
