More of Moms Musings on Monday

NO "STUFFIES" WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THESE PICTURES!.

Remember these pictures that the Beaglebratz
showed you all in their most recent post?  Well some of you commented about how they didn't destuff all the stuffies.
I got to thinking about this more and more and the more I thought about it the more surprised I am just like you all that they haven't.  Those "stuffies" are sitting out ALL DAY and NIGHT - even when I was working and they were home all by themselves.  I'm really surprised I didn't come home from work one day and find stuffing all over the house.

I wonder if  it started several years ago ----
I also collect Boyd's Bears and they sit around the fireplace the rest of the year.   When Shasta was an older puppy, I came home from work one day and there on the floor in the middle of the living room, was one of my smaller Boyd's Bears.  It was a little wet on the back but otherwise was OK - no damage done!  However that did not stop me from reading the riot act to Shasta - no spanking of course just a VERY FIRM tone of voice  - a couple stern and loud NO and slapping the bear on it's back at the same time.  Then I got one of HER stuffies, put it near her mouth and said GOOD DOG and YES!
Ever since then, no more Boyd's Bears out of place.  Not sure about Shiloh - after all when he was a puppy and even a young adult, he did un-decorate the bottom third of the Christmas tree until I learned to leave that area empty  for a few years.  But I don't remember Shiloh causing problems with the Boyd's Bears.

  1. You have some very good dogs! Even now that they are older, they will play tug-of-war with their "pets" and loosen limbs, rip holes, and I have to take the eyes off before they do. They are better than they used to be, but once in a while they will have a wild idea ...
