Wordless Wednesday - final moments with Lord Shiloh

Thank you to BlogPaws for hosting the
Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Mom Kim here - I wasn't sure about posting these pictures of
me and Lord Shiloh together for our last photo op but I reasoned-
this process is all part of being a responsible pet parent.
And the thing about Blogville-
we can share the good times and the not so good times.
I love that!

This was Lady Shasta's (standing in front) final car ride with her uncle Lord Shiloh.

Lady Shasta welcomes Lord Shiloh home.

Until we meet again.......

Thank you to Ann of Zoolatry for Shiloh's Forever badge.

  3. So very sorry for your loss. We do share almost everything in Blogville, so you did the right thing. It is hard to post through the tears, but bloggers find comfort in writing about our sorrowful times as well as our good times. Big hugs to you.

  9. WE are thankful for your sharing this with us. It helps US to come to grips with OUR sadness over losing our dear furend.. We hope it helps YOU also.
He was a GRAND GUY and we KNOW that he is running Free and Fast with our OTHER furends who have left for the Bridge.

  10. Kim, these photos will be among your most treasured photos. I always take those very last photos, including photos of the pack saying their final goodbyes before the "funeral" celebration. I often go back and look at them with love. You will too. We're all sending you a hug...

  15. Until the bittersweet end, we're with them. At least that's what a responsible pet parent does.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Whether this was unexpected or not, it's never easy. My hope is to one day meet all the dogs that have passed before me at the bridge when I die.

My deepest condolences and hugs my friend. xo
