This review is going to end a little differently. The past few weeks I have noticed that there are a few more differences between Lady Shasta & Angel Lord Shiloh than I first thought - today I found out another. She doesn't always try treats the way he did by chewing and swallowing without tasting. No, Lady Shasta wants to sniff it first, then she will take it in her mouth and you can just see how she works it with her tongue to taste it then chews it and then swallows it. This time she did not chew it or swallow it. I could not believe what I was seeing - what happened to my Beagle who eats ANYTHING? I tried again a little later - she did eat a bit but not much of a treat. She has had Sojos before and loved them but they were a different flavor. I checked the ingredient list again - Oat flour, rolled oats, potato, chicken, carrots, celery, canola oil, eggs - she has had other treats with these ingredients, I do know she does have days where sometimes she just doesn't eat what I give her - maybe that's it so I will try again another day.
However these treats did not go totally without a good taste test. My sis and a friend of hers had just finished up their walk not far from me- my sis with Lady Bailie and her friend with Lucy, an American Bulldog- I invited them by to make sure it was Lady Shasta who did not welcome the new treats - both Lady Bailie and Lucy were more then happy to be taste testers and both of them gave these treats 4 PAWS UP! As a reward I gave them each a handful of the treats for being willing taste testers.
So besides the yummy ingredients, what are the key benefits of these yummy treats - they must be yummy to be approved by Lady Bailie AND Lucy (even if Lady Shasta was not quite sure)-
- 100% natural
- Wheat and corn-free treats
- Perfect for training & rewarding
- Made with a short, simple ingredient list
- No artificial preservatives
- No artificial flavors or colors
- Made in the USA
So don't let Lady Shasta's reaction to the Sojos Good Dog Chicken Pot Pie Flavor Dog Treats affect your decision to try these treats - to me, just the name, Chicken Pot Pie, sounds really yummy. And there are several yummy Sojos Good Dog Treats - LOOK HERE

ReplyDeleteLady Shasta, you are just being selective and careful of your figure, are you not? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
We think it is that Lady Shasta doesn't have any competition fur the scarfing of snacks...
ReplyDeleteWe know that SOJO snacks are super good.
Me and Stanley loved those treats. Is Shasta just wishing she had some ice scream to go with it?
