Mom Kim here-
I think it will always be impossible for me to
really believe that
my Shiloh is an angel at the
Rainbow Bridge
(from a longtime friend in a Beagle online group
who "met" Shiloh when he joined my furmily,
thank you Joanie.)
thank you Joanie.)
I don't know how often I will be doing posts like this but
I think I owe it to Angel Shiloh that
he continue to be a part of the
Team Beaglebratz blog.
Someone helped me remember just how much I owe him-
Angel Prudence's mom over at
has made a return to Blogville after
a long absence following the journey of her
Angel Prudence to the Rainbow Bridge
this past October.
So much of what I do now in the dog world would not
be happening if Shiloh had not become a part of my
furmily back in 2003-
a puppy named Shiloh meets Oreo(YorkiPoo)
It was just 3 short years later when
an older Shiloh would meet a puppy himself, named Shasta.
It was because of Shiloh,
who already had turned into a great companion and
therapy dog
Prior to that, in 2004,
when Shiloh was just 19 months old,
he earned his Canine Good Citizen award-
When he was five years old, Shiloh became a
Reading Education Assistance Dog
Due to having been evaluated with his Halti for control reasons,
he had to wear it at all sessions - as he mellowed, the Halti
became a thing of the past - WHEW!
This picture was of me and Shiloh in the kissing contest - nope, didn't win
Now this next picture is from our routine we did for
Best Pet Trick - Shiloh would sit pretty, twirl on his hind legs, crawl, lay down and roll over.
We have THREE wins-three different years, from this contest-
Shiloh had to show off his
first place medal for Best Pet Trick-
We even got to meet
McGruff, the crime dog-
when Shiloh was just 19 months old,
he earned his Canine Good Citizen award-

It was because of all that I had been able to
accomplish with Shiloh,
that Lady Shasta,
whose doggy mom was Shiloh's littermate,
joined my furmily.
Here is a picture of Shiloh getting his blessing
at Blessing of the Animals-
This last group of pictures for this edition of
Flashback Friday with Angel Shiloh is from
another activity that was a first for me because of Shiloh,
Paws In The Park,
an annual fundraiser for our local humane shelter-

One year when Shiloh won,
they gave away trophies for first place
for Best Pet Trick.
That's all for this edition of
Flashback Friday with Angel Shiloh
The many faces of Angel Shiloh

What lovely pictures of your Angel!!!
ReplyDeleteThis was so sweet and touching. Shiloh was such a lovely, inspirational dog who brought many smiles and much laughter to those he met in real life and to those in Blogville who adore his wonderful personality.
ReplyDeleteShiloh was a very special boy!!! Mom says she thinks anyone who has love for their pet will always have a hard time thinking of them as Angels - we all feel the same way about our Angels, Dakota, Thunder, and Phantom.
