I know, it seems like I might be a bit confused - Lady Shasta is a Beagle - not really considered "small dog" but she gains weight super easy and even though she is 9, has earned her CGC and does a few tricks - I keep up on working with her just to keep her active and alert. Therefore, I need treats that are small - Zuke's Mini Naturals fit that requirement perfectly. And I like to use them in her treat ball and the Outward Hound Doggy Blocks as well. Not to mention they are nutritious and she loves them - she is super eager to please. Here is a list of the key benefits as shown on the Chewy.com website-
Key Benefits
- Only 3.5 calories per treat
- Great for frequent rewards and training
- Healthy, nutrient-rich cherries, rosemary and turmeric
- Small-sized treats are ideal for all ages and breeds
- Highly palatable
- No corn, wheat or soy
- Made in the USA!
And don't forget that yummy rabbit ingredient!
We were sent 1 - 6oz, bag of
Zuke's Mini Naturals
Wild Rabbit Recipe Dog Treats
for our honest opinion only.
There was no other compensation involved.
Those Zuke's treats are the perfect size for training, which we do lots of at our house! Great review, Lady Shasta!

I bet this wabbit treats are made for a famous hunting breed like you Shasta :o)
ReplyDeleteOur mom loves small Zukes for training too!

I am going to try these!
ReplyDeleteWild bunny yum yums! Wow! Did you see the post where I, Chester, caught a whole bunch of bunnies in my back yard? It was a shame to just throw them out, so Dad cleaned them up and cooked them on the grill, and I got to eat them. Yummy! But it's only maybe once every few years that I catch a bunny in my yard. So it's good to know I can get bunny treats whenever I crave it! Thanks for telling us about them!
ReplyDelete(Oh, and I hope the lovely Lady Shasta enters our Pawlympics Ear Flapping Event! She's got the ears for it!)
I love Zuke treats for our guys! We have tested these over the past few months are our Beagle mix also goes crazy for these, we're a Chewy influencer too and tested another brand this month but I think we're going back to Zuke's in the coming months! Great review and sweet pics of your adorable Beagle.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs LOVE rabbit. And I love tiny treats so it seems like a win win to me!!
ReplyDeleteWe almost always have a bag of the wabbit here at home. Good stuff and low cal.
ReplyDeleteWho dares to get between a hound dog and their rabbit? :) We love Zuke's around here too (also for training!) - especially the rabbit flavor.

I always go for the smaller treats too! I use them through out the day for training and don't want to over feed.
