Mom Kim here-
I know, it seems like I might be a bit confused - Lady Shasta is a Beagle - not really considered "small dog" but she gains weight super easy and even though she is 9, has earned her CGC and does a few tricks - I keep up on working with her just to keep her active and alert.  Therefore, I need treats that are small - Zuke's Mini Naturals fit that requirement perfectly. And I like to use them in her treat ball and the Outward Hound Doggy Blocks as well.  Not to mention they are nutritious and she loves them - she is super eager to please. Here is a list of the key benefits as shown on the Chewy.com website-
Key Benefits
  • Only 3.5 calories per treat
  • Great for frequent rewards and training
  • Healthy, nutrient-rich cherries, rosemary and turmeric
  • Small-sized treats are ideal for all ages and breeds
  • Highly palatable
  • No corn, wheat or soy
  • Made in the USA!
And don't forget that yummy rabbit ingredient!

We were sent 1 - 6oz, bag of

I iz gonna go "sample" sum more.
Oh by the way -
4 PAWZ UP!
Mom Kim here - yes, I got those small dog treats because they are an ideal size to use while training - you can use a few without your dog gaining weight.  They are also an ideal size to use in Lady Shasta's treat ball

I like them also because of the yummy ingredients which she readily gobbles up, things like-

Lamb Meal, Dried Ground Potatoes, Cane Molasses, Pea Fiber, Apples, Flaxseed, Chick Peas, Salt, Cinnamon, Rosemary Extract and stuff to keep all those things fresh and good tasting for your pet.  Wellness truly cares about our pets and Chewy.com tells all about the goodness that goes into Wellness products.  If you just click on that Wellness Petite Treats  link above then you will be able to read all about it.

Here is a list of the key benefits of these treats (that I borrowed from Chewy.com's website) that sums it all up-
Key Benefits

  • Delicious taste & healthy ingredients
  • Flaxseed for healthy, shiny coat
  • No artificial colors or flavors
  • Perfect for training or treating
And I will add one more because I know as a pet parent, we are all concerned with where what we give our pets to eat is made - well you can rest easy as Wellness products are made in Canada - another safe area.

Along with Lady Shasta - I also wholeheartedly approve of these Wellness Petite Treats!

FLASHBACK FRIDAY WITH ANGEL SHILOH

Mom Kim here-
I think it will always be impossible for me to
really believe that
my Shiloh is an angel at the
Rainbow Bridge
(from a longtime friend in a Beagle online group
who "met" Shiloh when he joined my furmily,
thank you Joanie.)

I don't know how often I will be doing posts like this but
I think I owe it to Angel Shiloh that
he continue to be a part of the
Team Beaglebratz blog.
Someone helped me remember just how much I owe him-
Angel Prudence's mom over at
has made a return to Blogville after
a long absence following the journey of her
Angel Prudence to the Rainbow Bridge
this past October.

So much of what I do now in the dog world would not
be happening if Shiloh had not become a part of my
furmily back in 2003-
a puppy named Shiloh meets Oreo(YorkiPoo)

It was just 3 short years later when
an older Shiloh would meet a puppy himself, named Shasta.
It was because of Shiloh,
who already had turned into a great companion and
therapy dog
This was the picture for our first Pet Partners Badge.
We visited at Midland Hospice.

Prior to that, in 2004,
when Shiloh was just 19 months old,
he earned his Canine Good Citizen award-

When he was five years old, Shiloh became a
Reading Education Assistance Dog

Due to having been evaluated with his Halti for control reasons,
he had to wear it at all sessions - as he mellowed, the Halti
became a thing of the past - WHEW!

It was because of all that I had been able to
accomplish with Shiloh,
that Lady Shasta,
whose doggy mom was Shiloh's littermate,
joined my furmily.

Here is a picture of Shiloh getting his blessing
at Blessing of the Animals-

This last group of pictures for this edition of
Flashback Friday with Angel Shiloh is from
another activity that was a first for me because of Shiloh,
Paws In The Park,
an annual fundraiser for our local humane shelter-

This picture was of me and Shiloh in the kissing contest - nope, didn't win

Now this next picture is from our routine we did for
Best Pet Trick - Shiloh would sit pretty, twirl on his hind legs, crawl, lay down and roll over.
We have THREE wins-three different years, from this contest-

Shiloh had to show off his
first place medal for Best Pet Trick-
One year when Shiloh won,
they gave away trophies for first place
for Best Pet Trick.

We even got to meet
 McGruff, the crime dog-

That's all for this edition of
Flashback Friday with Angel Shiloh
The many faces of Angel Shiloh
thank you Ann from Zoolatry
