New Update on Lady Shasta

Lady Shasta here - I'm bak.

I haf bin 2 MY dog-tor an'the

report iz NOT all that bad really-

me an'mom an'aunt sis got it taken care of.

Ferst, if u wanna know where this started then 

LOOK HERE!

Anyway, I haf an abscessed anal gland - no rupture.

My mom thought it wuz sumthin'like that.

My dog-tor did not empty my anal glands yet

(thank-u furry much) 

cuz he sed if he did then they wood rupchure.  Sooo

I am on an anti-by-otik fer 2 weekz THEN

he will empty them out.

(how'z that fer sumthin'2 look forward 2?)

Mom sed that when I wuz at the dog-tor 2-day,

I looked an'acted happier than I haf fer at leest

2 or 3 dayez.  There wuz even a kitty there I wnated 

2 meet an'talk 2 butt it wuz 2 bizy sleepin. 

I haf eaten a little butt still not much butt 

I am drinkin'plenty (of water that iz)

Mom thought sumthin'like this happened B-4 so

she looked an'found that it had in

March of 2014

so mom iz gonna remind my dog-tor'bout 

that an'c if she shood b feedin'me sumthin'dif'rent altho

the dog food I eat now iz dif'rent frum then.

Ok - so thank-u all fer the 

prayerz, purrfayerz an'POTP.

I iz startin'2 feel better now.

Mom Kim here-

I am not sure what the problem is - I do have a strong suspicion 

her anal glands are bothering her alot.  She is not scooting but 

as soon as she poops then she sits and looks really forlorn like 

something is bothering her.  I am also wondering if she might 

have picked up worms somewhere.   At times her breathing 

seems a little more rapid than it should and also shows a little 

flinching when I rub her back.  And, one of my biggest

concerns - her appetite is way off (NO cheese even when I offer

 it) altho she is still drinking well).  Just way too much going

on for my little lady.

Anyway, as soon as our vet opens I will call and hopefully get

an appointment with him - I do know she WILL be seen 

sometime TODAY by a vet - you can tell just by watching her

that she feels MISERABLE!  So please could I get some

prayers, POTP and purrs my little lady?

Cookie's mom has got way too much

stuff to deal with on her plate.

Some of you may have heard about 

Cookie being diagnosed with

Valley Fever and she still needs the meds for this.

HOWEVER-

now there is an additional worry and expense including 

MOVING EXPENSE!

I know too well what it is like having 

a disability and dealing with the additional 

expenses of that.

Now, there is a strong possibility of 

Cookie and her mom being evicted from

her apartment due to questionable behavior between 

Cookie and neighborhood dogs that 

has NOT been proven!

As I have mentioned a few times before. I am always on the look-out for anything that will keep Lady Shasta's mind busy and her body active and this treat ball filled both of those requirements.  I like the way it is made because it wobbles and may go in different directions no matter which way the dog hits it.  Lady Shasta has knocked it about quite a bit - on carpet and hard floor and it has stood the test of use.  I did read the reviews on Chewy's website - I think the few complaints there were centered around the holes in the ball being too large so that the treats came out too easily - REALLY?  That's the worst?  What about the hundreds of dog treats out there - all different sizes; what about just finding a treat that would not come out so easy?  I think that would just add to the fun activity you could share with your dog - finding the treat that works best!  And right now, with our daily temps averaging between 95 and 100, having something fun for Lady Shasta to do indoors is an added bonus.  Yep, if I could, I'd give it 4 paws up too!
