Well We know you had a GOAL of 1000 by the end of the year... butt MAYBE in the spirit of being KIND to the MOM... you could EXTEND that to 1000 by... EASTER.
I am sure she can do it with your help, not every one had a Diva and a Lord of the manor to help out..
Your should create a Post-a-thon one weekend. Figure out how you can have guest posts stack on top of each other. Have a post end mid sentence and the next poster has to pick up mid sentence.
