FFHT - Just when I thought things couldn't get worse . . . "

Team Beaglebratz iz joinin'with Murphy & Stanley an'their Fractured Fryday Hairy Tails.  This week our story iz by Diva Shasta.

This story happened a few yearz ago – when I, Diva Shasta, ferst joined Team Beaglebratz.  I wuz a mere babe an’I had not yet come  in-tue my diva-ness altho the Beagletude wuz hidin'just under my skin.

I didn't know that the lady takin'MY pikchure that day wood soon b my hoomin mom-

wunder what wood I haf dun if I had known then what

I know now?

Ok - now u may all say Awwwwww

Now in my short life, of course I grew up with my litter mates BUTT there wuz a few older woofiez around tue so I KINDA knew what tue x-pect when I got tue my new home an’found out I HAD A BIG BRUTHER!  It wuz all good – we had lotza fun.  Hiz name iz Shiloh an’at timez he kinda thinkz he iz a little bit all that an’then sum BUTT that wuz ok – I wuz gonna b gittin’sum of that tue.  I soon found out that I had joined the family’boutz Christmas time which iza speshal time of year – not just fer hoominz BUTT fer us woofiez tue (butt I didn’t really know that much’boutz this time called Christmas – yet)  So fer awhile, my life went on just fine – me’an Shiloh were gittin’along good an’it wuz kinda nice havin’anuther woofie in the house who wood

watch out fer me . . . or so I thought.

I mean – don’t git me wrong – I had my bad momentz tue – after all, I had bin ripped away frum my doggy mom at such a young age … an’my litter matez an’all the other woofiez I had grown up with.  THEN it happened . . ."Just when I thought things couldn't get worse . . ."

 

I don't haf any pikchurez of the akchual insident-

which iz probably a good thing-

it really did happen on my FERST CHRISTMAS mornin'
I had MY Christmas stockin'an'Shiloh had
HIZ Christmas stockin'an-
we wuz both gittin'bizy lookin'at
all that wuz in them - toyz an'treatz-
an'that wuz the problem-
one of thoze treatz fell out of MY stockin'
I thought - no problem, I'll just wander over an'git it.

Wellllll - there WUZ a problem-
a BIG BRUTHER of a problem!
We got tue MY treat frum MY stockin'at the same time-
only Shiloh thought it wuz HIZ treat.
(interjection from mom - this was the ONLY time something like this has EVER happened)
The main thing at that point that I, baby Shasta r'memberz-
Shiloh gave me a little nip on the ear tue
chase me away frum MY treat so he cood
make it HIZ treat. 
It all happened so fast-
Mom can't really r'member if I yelped.
BUTT rite then mom'z nephew stopped by tue
take us all tue her sis's place fer the rest of Christmas Day.

Ok - so we iz all dun gittin'our prezziez an'relaxin'on the sofa-
only I wuz feelin'kinda strange inside an'my ear wuz
kinda hurtin'a bit where Shiloh had nipped me BUTT
it wuz NOT oozin'any BLOOD

(again from mom - but it was oozing some ????)
ANYWAYZ - we wuz off tue the dogtor-
ON MY FERST CHRISTMAS DAY!
This iz what I looked like after I gotz A stitch in my ear-
also gotz sum feel better medicine.

Hello all an'welcome tue this week'z meetin'of Chocoholicz Anonymus. My name iz Shiloh an'I am Lord of the Beaglebratz Manor; I am also a chocoholic.

I am not shure when my chocoholism began-
it almost seemz like it haz gone on furever.
Oh my mom duz her best tue try'n stop me frum eatin'thoze most d-lectable morselz BUTT-
u just never know where I mite show up.

One of my earliest mem'riez wuz findin'one of thoze heart shaped chocolate d-litez that wuz wrapped up tite in that shinee paper.  I only had the one piece - I coodn't git that paper off so I ate that tue.  Nope - no sickiez.

I haf eaten other chocolate stuffz over the yearz since I wuz a wee pup an'tasted that furst yummy bite.  Like the box of that hot chocolate mix that I found on the counter.  Oh mom TRIED tue keep me away frum it BUTT I alwayz found a way-

One of the most scrumdilli-ishus wuz what mom called a tunnel of fudge cake - NOT a regular size cake butt one of my mom'z friendz had made l that wuz'boutz haf the size(may-b a little smaller) of a regular cake (no pikchurez) It wuz s'poze tue b a birthday cake fur my mom - nobuddy told me sooo
"I can't believe I ate the WHOLE thing - yep, agin - no sickiez  It wuz'boutz 8 inchez wide.  Mom sat it on the dinin'room table, way bak away frum the edge BUTT what can I say - I AM a Beagle an'I AM a chocoholic.  An'she DID leeve me there while she went out tue eat with aunt sis - that wuz b-4 Diva Shasta - so I ask u - what iza woofie tue due?

BUTT even at MY barkday pawty due u think I git a 

 chocolate cake?  I think not!

Just look at me, askin'really nice an'not jumpin'around-BUTT  NO CHOCOLATE CAKE!

One day last week the doorbell rang – of course we Beaglebratz had tue alert our mom in case she hadn’t herd it – u know how sum peepz r when they git older – she just told us tue b quiet az she went tue the door tue c who it wuz.  Welllllllllll, when mom opened the door, there wuz no peep there butt there wuz a box – a BIG box.  Now we Beaglebratz knew that when a box comez tue our door then it iz uzually fur us sooooo we d-sided tue follow mom az she tugged an’pushed an'wiggled an'wrangled the BIG box in-tue the livin’room.

Now we Beaglebratz cood tell this wuz NOT a Chewy.com box cuz their familiar logo wuzn’t there an’b-sidez, we had NEVER seen such a big box frum Chewy.com sooooooo, who wuz it frum an’what wuz in such a box?

(NOT like this box - it wuz a BIG box'n no logo)

Well, like uzual when a box comez tue the house, Diva Shasta kinda hangz bak an’let ME – Shiloh the Macho Man, the Lord of the Manor, take over. (wunder if it haz sumthin’tue due with that little nip on the ear I gave her when she wuz a pup an’we wuz after the same treat az it fell outta the Christmas stockin’BUTT – I digress)  ANYWHO………….

So mom left the box sittin’in the middle of the livin’room then walked off tue the kitchen fur who knowz what reezon.  I, Shiloh-Lord of the Manor, wuz torn – tue follow mom an’may-b git sumthin’yummerlishus OR stay here an’check out the BOX – what tue due oh what tue due.  BUTT THEN, I notised sumthin’odd (even more odd then Diva Shasta?) – yes, def’nitely furry much odd- the BIG box had HOLEZ in it!  

I had NEVER seen a box with HOLEZ in it b-4 (oh yeah, when mom took me tue Petsmart one time, the peep there wuz uzin'a box with holez in it tue carry a little critter) butt that wuz a small box-
this box wuz a BIG box - with holez in it.

All of a sudden I, Shiloh-Lord of the Manor, herd a noize - it came frum INSIDE the box!  Diva Shasta made a b-line fur mom BUTT I stood MY ground - whatever wuz in that box wuz 'boutz tue b x-pozed fur what it really wuz'n I - Shiloh the MACHO MAN - the Lord of the Manor wuz gonna b the one tue due it!

When I opened the box I was startled to find...

I didn't know - I didn't care - it wuz time fur it tue fly away.  BUTT I knew mom - if SHE wanted a Hector then Hector wood b stayin'!
