I couldn't decide which of these 

two pictures to include so 

I just used them both.

For those who may not know, these two 

were my original Team Beaglebratz.

Of course Lady Shasta (top) is still here-

my big Beagle boy Angel Shiloh left for the

Rainbow Bridge on March 9th, 2016-

just 17 days shy of his 13th birthday.

I still can't believe I was fortunate 

enough to get this picture-

that's Lady Shasta "whispering" to 

her big brother Shiloh.

My Ladiez are snoozing away, 

trying to stay cool so

knows I am all about my Ladiez.

For those who may be new here,

that is Lady Shasta all curled up and

Miss Maizie up top.

I may post about other subjects in the future

 but my Ladiez are what I see most of and

they give me lots of Awww moments.

From heartbreak to that warm fuzzy feeling - Mom on Monday

First, this post has nothing to do with previous posts although it is still affecting me some.  Instead this post has a couple of videos - one I found on Facebook and 

then later on YouTube and 

the other also on YouTube.  

I do want to WARN you,

especially with the first one-

I can GUARANTEE, 

especially with the first video-

there is a VERY GOOD chance that

it will induce heartbreak at first BUT

  as I said in my subject line-

that warm fuzzy feeling 

followed by 

your heart melting is 

your reward for watching it.

Edie - rescued just in time

The second video is 

not quite as heartbreaking altho

the first few seconds takes 

you back to Edie's rescue BUT

then you get a glimpse into

the beginnings of Edie's

"happily ever after" life.

 Edie is adopted!

This happened almost two

years ago but what happens in

these two videos,

we all know it continues today. 

I wish I had the time,

money and ability to

do rescue but at this

time and into the near future,

it just isn't possible.

I'm just grateful that there ARE

people who CAN do rescue for

dogs and ALL animals.

And I am so grateful that 

Shiloh'n Shasta have never

known anything BUT

a loving and caring home.

MOM ON MONDAY........ and a word (or two or...) from Shiloh'n Shasta

First Mom - Ok, I have decided that unless there is a drastic change in my vision in the next month or so, I will not be posting a whole lot about it.  At times it seems to take over my life and there is more to me than that.  Suffice it to say that I did have an appointment earlier this morning with my local eye doctor and while the improvement is still "maybe slight but definitely not worse but no cause for celebration" - my doctor needs to realize that I do consider "not worse" a really good reason to celebrate considering the overall nature of my eye condition.  In fact, the fact that I am seeing good enough that I can return to my previous job IS a MAJOR cause for celebration.

In fact, after thinking about my overall health condition 35 years ago when I was discharged from the hospital on Christmas Eve after a surgery that left me more like an infant than a 20 year old woman and having the surgeon and other medical staff giving a prognosis that I would probably never walk again and a hospital social worker tell my mom and dad that they should probably find an institution for me - and now I am living on my own and working at a good job where I have been for 26 years.  Reason to celebrate- 

DARN RIGHT I HAVE REASON TO CELEBRATE!

Ok, this post is already longer than I originally planned - hope no one minded my sentimental journey but it was all kinda brought home when I sat in church on Christmas Eve 2011 and thinking what 'I' was experiencing when I sat in church on that Christmas Eve in 1976.

Now on to the news from Shiloh'n Shasta->

MOM ON MONDAY - BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

A bit of an update today.  I had to go to my local eye doc today to have a contact lense put in - the other came out yesterday'.  I thought I had noticed some improvement since this past Friday but I would not have been surprised if when I got up today, because the contact lens came out yesterday, if my vision was a little worse - it wasn't.
YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Not only was it NOT worse, my eye doc said it looked like the defect was healing FASTER than it did before -
YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And that haze that's covering my cornea - he agreed that it may be clearing just a tad.  So I'm kinda wondering now if the cornea transplant will be necessary - at least before I can go bak to work.  I won't know that for awhile and will let  you all know when I do.  My local eye doc will be talking with my specialist tomorrow  since my specialist will be here in town - the specialist may want to see the improvement I see.  Not much else going on now.  I think the Beaglebratz are in a rut - whenever I am here doing a post, they can usually be found just snoozing away the evening.

   We will be bak when we can.
